New Place and New Dentist work

So I knew it was bad for me to wait so long to see a dentist I finally got the nerve to call and make an appointment at a office near by in New Hampshire. Through my insurance I found a Aspen Dental, reason I choose this company was because they also had an office in Connecticut which will be my next state of residence.

January 9, 2012 I went in for an oral exam and xrays they gave me my treatment plan and prices which like usual stunned me. I found out I needed another Periodontal scaling and root planing because I didn't keep up with the cleanings from South Carolina so my tarter was out of control. I had again 5 cavities, which I'll get into later and also need wisdom teeth removed because their impacted and just not enough room in my mouth for them. The Dentist also made a comment about my mouth saying it was the smallest adult mouth that she had ever seen.

January 12, 2012 I walked in had my whole mouth numbed and my cleaning was over and done with in two hours. A lot less painful then my South Carolina experience and I found out why. In South Carolina they just used some sort of medication under the gum to temporary numb the area and then they would clean but due to my tarter being so bad at the time my sensitivity was horrible and I felt it all. I was sent home after with a frosty from Wendy's and was told to take some Ibuprofen for a couple of days. With my whole mouth numb here in New Hampshire I had no pain the following days other then at the injection site.

February 29, 2012 My fillings day had no issues they checked how my gum disease was healing by checking the pockets around my teeth, before I had mostly 7-9's this time it was 3-5's and I was happy. My gums were still swollen and red though and I had a small amount of bleeding they have referred me to a Periodontics Specialist. I needed a small cleaning because of my crowding and small tarter buildup, which amazed me because every dentist says to get a cleaning every six months and it hadn't even been 3 months. So I had my 5 cavities drilled and filled, one of them was horrible because it was a back molar and the cavity was in the back of the molar. Because of my mouth being so small and the size of the tools the Dentist use it was very difficult for me to open my mouth wide enough.

During my cleaning before my fillings the I guess Dental assistant or whatever they call the people who clean the teeth was probing my mouth to check my gum disease she probed a little farther then she did during my first periodontal probing and one of my teeth begin to pus. She called the Dentist over to look and the Dentist told me I had an abscess. Which I had never heard of before and just scared me when they started talking about me losing it, it scared me more because its my front bottom tooth number 24 to be exact.
